Get in touch
Sleep Dungeon is made by a small studio in Helsinki, and the support inbox is read by the person who made the game. Write to [email protected] and you will normally hear back within two working days.
It helps to include your iOS version, your iPhone model, your hero's class and level, and what you expected to happen instead.
How a night works
- At bedtime, equip your hero, set your bedtime and wake time, pick tonight's destination and tap Begin Expedition.
- While you sleep, your hero sets out. Every hour of your sleep window opens two more levels.
- In the morning, play the run: choose a way at every crossroads, and decide at treasure rooms, shrines, merchants and boss doors. Or switch on autoplay and watch your hero follow your orders.
- Collect your rewards from the morning report: experience, gold and what made it home.
Common questions
Does Sleep Dungeon send notifications?
Only local ones, made on your iPhone, if you allow them: a reminder before bedtime and a note at your wake time that the night's run is ready. The game asks when you begin your first expedition; you can turn them off in iOS Settings › Notifications › Sleep Dungeon.
Do I need Apple Health?
No. The bedtime and wake time you set decide how deep the night goes. If you allow Apple Health, the game reads your sleep (it never writes to Health): a short night trims the depth, and a good night makes your hero stronger.
How do autoplay and Take over work?
With autoplay on, your hero makes the choices by the orders you gave at bedtime, and every room still plays on screen. Tap Take over at any moment, even mid-fight, to choose for yourself: drink a potion, swap to your backup weapon or roll a d20 to escape.
I didn't play last night's run. Is it lost?
No. A run waits for you, and one left for 18 hours finishes on its own, so it never blocks the next night. Its rewards, or its fall, still count.
I bought Sleep Dungeon Pro but it isn't unlocked
Open Pip's Stall in town and tap Restore Purchases, and check you're signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple; refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does it work on iPhone Duo?
Yes. Every screen is laid out for each of iPhone Duo's modes: closed, open tall or wide, and half folded like a book or a laptop, without scrolling. Opened, the run is a full-screen game view.
Your saves
Sleep Dungeon has no account and no server of ours: your heroes, runs and codex are saved on your iPhone, and the journal keeps your last 30 nights. We can't restore a save for you, because we never receive a copy. Deleting the app deletes its saves. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is handled.
Reporting a problem
Bug reports are welcome. Include the steps that led to the problem if you can reproduce it. If the game crashed, sharing analytics with developers in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements sends Apple an anonymised crash report we can read.
Reporting a security issue
Security problems go to [email protected] rather than the support inbox, so they get looked at first. The security page says what to send and what we do with it.
