The short version. This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, ads or tracking. If you write to us, we use what you send only to reply, and a launch-list address only for the one launch email. Our apps and games keep your data on your device.

Visiting this website
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and we set no cookies of our own. To deliver the site and keep it safe, a few providers necessarily see technical data from your browser:

We do not combine this data with anything else or use it to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Contacting us
The contact form on the home page is sent through FormSubmit, which forwards your name, email address and message to our inbox. If you email us directly, at contact@, support@ or [email protected], we receive the same kind of information.
We use it only to answer you and handle any follow-up, and we keep it only as long as that takes. We never add you to a mailing list or share your message with anyone else. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Security reports are handled as described on the security page.
Launch emails
Before a game is released, you can leave your email address on its page to hear when it launches. We store the address, the game it is for and the time you signed up in Microsoft Azure storage in the EU (West Europe). The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box.
We send one email when that game launches, and nothing else. After the launch email has gone out, we delete the list. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to [email protected], and we remove your address.
International transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the EU/EEA, mainly in the United States. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, it is protected by the safeguards those providers use, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our apps and games
Each app and game has its own privacy policy that says exactly what it does. As a rule, they collect nothing: there are no accounts, analytics or ads, and what you create stays on your device. Purchases are handled by the store you buy from, under that store's privacy policy.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict using it. Write to [email protected]. In practice the only personal data we may hold is correspondence you have sent us.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish data protection authority, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the date on this page. If we ever start handling personal data in a new way, we will say so here before it happens.
