Your privacy is our policy, not the other way around. Drift is built to respect you by default. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. All health analysis runs entirely on your device.
Who we are
Stationify Oy (Business ID: 3608699-3, D-U-N-S: 369301281) is a software company based in Helsinki, Finland. Drift is published on the Apple App Store by Stationify Oy. This privacy policy applies specifically to the Drift app.
Our privacy principle
We believe people own their data. Drift follows one rule: collect nothing unless the app literally cannot function without it. All health data stays on your device. We do not operate user accounts, tracking systems, or analytics platforms.
Data we collect
The short answer: as little as possible. The table below describes the categories of data Drift handles.

On-device machine learning
Drift uses multiple on-device ML models — including an isolation forest for anomaly detection, k-means clustering for day-type classification, a drift forecaster, and a contextual bandit for recommendation personalisation. All models are trained and run locally on your device. No health data is sent to any server for processing.
On supported devices, Drift also uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence) to generate personalised health insights. These are processed entirely on your device by Apple's on-device framework.
Third-party services
Drift does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. The only third-party services involved are:
- Apple HealthKit — for reading health and fitness data, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
- Apple WeatherKit — for UV index and wind speed data
- Apple StoreKit — for processing in-app purchases
Data storage & security
All user data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData with iOS file protection. Sensitive data such as your longevity profile and subscription state is stored in the iOS Keychain. Drift does not use CloudKit or any cloud sync — your health-derived data stays on-device. You can delete all app data at any time by removing the app from your device.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Because Drift does not collect personal data, it complies with COPPA and similar regulations by design.
Data retention
We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any. Data computed by Drift exists only on your device. When you delete the app, all local data is removed with it.
Your rights
Under GDPR and other privacy regulations, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. All data remains under your control on your own device.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If Drift introduces new data practices, we will update both this policy and the app's App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
