Stationify Oy (Business ID: 3608699-3, D-U-N-S: 369301281) is a software company based in Helsinki, Finland. Sleep Voice Memo is published on the Apple App Store by Stationify Oy.
Our privacy principle
We believe people own their data. Sleep Voice Memo follows one rule: collect nothing unless the app literally cannot function without it. Audio recordings, transcripts, and dream interpretations all stay on your device. We do not operate user accounts, tracking systems, or analytics platforms.
Data we collect
The short answer: as little as possible. The table below describes the categories of data Sleep Voice Memo handles.

Microphone permission
Sleep Voice Memo requires microphone permission to detect and record speech during a monitoring session. Recording stops the moment you tap Stop or when the session ends. We never record outside an active session.
Third-party services
Sleep Voice Memo does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. The only third-party services involved are:
- Apple Speech — for on-device transcription
- Apple Foundation Models — for optional on-device dream interpretation
- Apple HealthKit — for optional sleep-stage overlay, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
Data storage & security
Audio clips and transcripts are stored locally in the app sandbox with iOS file protection. The app has a configurable retention window (7–90 days). You can wipe everything with one tap from Settings, or by deleting the app from your device.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Because Sleep Voice Memo does not collect personal data, it complies with COPPA and similar regulations by design.
Data retention
We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any. Audio and transcripts created by Sleep Voice Memo exist only on your device. When you delete the app or wipe data from Settings, all local data is removed with it.
Your rights
Under GDPR and other privacy regulations, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. All data remains under your control on your own device.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If Sleep Voice Memo introduces new data practices, we will update both this policy and the app's App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
