Stationify Oy (Business ID: 3608699-3, D-U-N-S: 369301281) is a software company based in Helsinki, Finland. Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore is published on the Apple App Store by Stationify Oy.
Our privacy principle
We believe people own their data. Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore follows one rule: collect nothing unless the app literally cannot function without it. Audio recordings, transcripts, and dream interpretations all stay on your device. We do not operate user accounts, tracking systems, or analytics platforms.
Data we collect
The short answer: as little as possible. The table below describes the categories of data Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore handles.

Microphone permission
Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore requires microphone permission to detect and record sounds during a night you start. Recording stops when you end the night. We never record outside a session you started.
Third-party services
Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs. The only third-party services involved are:
- Apple Speech — for on-device transcription
- Apple Foundation Models — for optional on-device dream interpretation
- Apple HealthKit — for optional sleep and heart data beside your recorded sounds
- Apple App Intents and Core Spotlight — for Siri, Shortcuts and the optional on-device search index
- Apple StoreKit — for Premium purchases and subscriptions. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your payment details or Apple Account information, and the app only checks with Apple whether Premium is active
Each is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data storage & security
Audio clips, transcripts and night records are stored locally in the app sandbox with iOS file protection. Audio and transcripts have separate retention settings in Settings → Privacy & storage. Without Premium, both are kept for 7 days. With Premium you choose: clip audio for 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days (30 by default), and transcripts for the same periods or forever (the default). If Premium ends, the 7-day limit applies again. Expired audio and transcripts are removed the next time you open the app, and an expired transcript takes its dream interpretation and the night's summary with it. Nights and their sound events stay until you delete them. You can delete everything from Settings (Delete all data), or by deleting the app from your device.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Because Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore does not collect personal data, it complies with COPPA and similar regulations by design.
Data retention
We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any. Audio and transcripts created by Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore exist only on your device. When you delete the app or wipe data from Settings, all local data is removed with it.
Your rights
Under GDPR and other privacy regulations, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. All data remains under your control on your own device.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If Sleep Talk Recorder & Snore introduces new data practices, we will update both this policy and the app's App Store privacy label before the change takes effect.
